Training Reports

About the Training Reports System

This system aims to simplify the process of conducting a Training Evaluation (that is, of evaluating a missionary's progress according to our staff training definitions). This includes:

The Evaluation Process

1

Input Form (collecting data)

You (the staff trainer/evaluator) invite staff to contribute their input using the Training Evaluation Input Form.

  • Send them this link by email, text, etc: https://disciplemakers.typeform.com/to/k64DXrXl
  • Involve as many or as few staff as you need:
    • For a formal 360 review, you'll have 5–10+.
    • When evaluating a missionary on your own, it might be just you!
  • Direct staff to focus their responses on the categories they're well-positioned to evaluate.
  • Indicate which levels you want staff to provide responses for:
    • Competency Only
    • Competency and Mastery
  • You will receive an email notification with each form submission so that you can keep track of responses.

2

Report Generation

Once you've received all the staff responses you need for the assessment, let Brian Roberg (robergb@dm.org) know and he will generate the Staff Trainer's Report for you.

3

Staff Trainer's Report

The Staff Trainer's Report does two things:

  1. It organizes and analyzes the responses collected through the Input Form to help you see other staff's perspectives on the missionary you're evaluating.
  2. It allows you to record your determination of whether the missionary meets each training definition.

4

Training Evaluation Report

When you submit the Staff Trainer's Report, the Training Evaluation Report is automatically generated. This report is your “deliverable” from the evaluation process and serves as a record of your evaluation of the missionary's progress in training.
